Angelina Jolie tại lễ trao giải Quả cầu vàng

Quả cầu vàng do Hiệp hội Báo chí nước ngoài tại Hollywood (HFPA) trao tặng, được coi là dự báo sớm cho các đề cử giải Oscar (được công bố vào ngày 24/1). Dẫn chương trình trong lễ trao giải năm nay là diễn viên hài người Anh Ricky Gervais.

Trong khi đó, tài tử George Clooney là ngôi sao nhận được nhiều đề cử nhất ở các hạng mục Nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc, Đạo diễn xuất sắc và Biên kịch xuất sắc. Nữ minh tinh AngelinaJolie với bộ phim đầu tay do cô làm đạo diễn, In the Land of Blood and Honey, giành được đề cử cho Phim nói tiếng nước ngoài hay nhất.
